"Sunkit needs to talk to Stormingstar," Juniperheart excused herself, then padded over towards their leader, muttering, "...voice comes out of thin air and talks to her, and she says I just need thyme? Well, I..."

Stormingstar replied, "That is interesting, coupled with your knowledge of our language. I think..." she broke off. If this mouse truly knew the city as well as he had said, could they use him to help find their stolen Clan mates? Possibly. Making her decision, she called over Lightwing. "If it's all right with you, Lightwing, can this mouse stay with you for now? I want no cat to harm him, understand? I have an idea of how he might be able to help us. Thanks. And now I've got to go talk to Juniperheart and the kits." She turned towards the waiting kit and queen. "Where's Leafkit?" she asked Juniperheart sharply. "I asked for all of you to be here."

"Ok, Thanks and understood StormingStar!" Lightwing purred, she immediatly showed piper her den.
"LEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAFKIIIIIIIIIIIT! StormingStar wants you!" She called out.
"OK!" She called back and hopped out of the nursery. She bounded over to StormingStar. "You called?" She said innocently leaf green eyes wide.

"So Piper, what do you usually eat?" LightWing mewed eyeing his swollen stomach.
"Um usually cheese." He replied his glistening teeth knawing on a peice of Poppy Seed.

[Inuit]

"Kikkies make fwiends wid mousey?" Jelk asked in suprise, watching the scene from a tall tree. Pudge sighed. "They'll just preten' to like 'em, then the kitties eat 'em." Jelk twitched his tail in curiostity. "But why 'ould kikkies wait to eat mousey? They look 'ungry!" Pudge, a bit annoyed, snapped, "Why don'cha go ask 'em?" Jelk grinned and nodded. "Good idea, I go 'n twy it now!" Just as he was about to spring, Pudge grabbed his tail. "If you wanna get eaten, go 'head and go down!" Jelk sulked, muttering to himself.

Juniperheart's ears went back slightly at the thought of helping a mouse, rather than eating it...but she thought of her two missing kits, and sighed, looking at the ground beneath her paws.

Sunkit took the change to pipe up again. "Mam, Storm'n'star, I see--" Juniperheart promptly put a paw to her mouth.

"Hush," she mewed firmly. "We know, you turned orange. But this is no time to go on about it."

"Mwaam," complained Sunkit around the paw.

Stormingstar flicked her tail to silence the kit and her mother, now that Leafkit was there too. "All right. I'd like to understand why you forbade the kits to play together," she asked, having heard about it when Lightwing and Juniperheart had explained what was going on. "I don't want any part of our Clan divided, not now when we're in so much trouble, and especially not over something as silly as a talking mouse. Now I just want to talk to the kits alone for a second." She motioned for Juniperheart to leave, then turned to Leafkit. "All right, Leafkit, you tell me what happened," she ordered, a little frustrated by all of this.

"Well JuneeHer said that Auntie Light was immature and then Auntie Light said she wasn't then we found Piper and they had a fight about that.." Leafkit shifted uneasily.

[*~Aly~*]

"All right, Leafkit," Stormingstar said gently, realizing that the kit probably wasn't going to have anything useful to tell her. Sunkit, though, looked like she would explode if she didn't get a chance to talk soon. "Right, Sunkit?" she went on briskly. "Do you have anything else to add? Also, before you say anything, I'd just like to tell you that you can still all play together. I made Juniperheart agree to that. Now, Sunkit...?"

[Ren]

"Mam argue with Lightwing," affirmed Sunkit, reluctantly dropping the topic of her vision--this was the leader she was talking to, after all. "But I no wanna play wi' Lee'kit," she added planatively to Stormingstar alone, white tail flicking unhappily as she lowered her voice. "She think I gonna eat her; she a scaredy-kit."

"Well, all right, I guess..." Stormingstar sighed. She'd thought the kit had had more to say. So she was just wating her time here, after all. "She'll come around. But you can make your own decisions about what to do about that." Wait, maybe the kit was just afraid to tell her because she was leader! "Anything else that happened, even unrelated? You looked like you were going to jump out of your fur earlier."

Stormingstar nudged the silent kit gently. "Go on," she encouraged. "You can tell me. I promise I won't get mad."
