Sunkit hissed, and brought her fangs two inches from his face. "I learn to hunt," she growled. "I hunt YOU." Juniperheart just watched.
"B-be nice, S-s-sunkit," she stammered, staring at the mouse as though she'd never seen one before. "It--it might do some witchery, or something."
Sunkit snickered and hissed again, trying to make the freshkill-thing cower like Mam made it do before she could eat it.
