It's not too complicated, really...
1) No godmoding, powerplaying, any of that--you ought to know as much. Be polite in OOC.
"As soon as she felt Mistpaw's weight on her back, the leader began shaking hard to dislodge her, letting out a slight grunt from the force, although the weight couldn't be much more than half her own. When the found the apprentice's grasp loosening, just a little, the dark she-cat dropped into a roll, efficient to knock a cat off and disorient them a bit--even knock them out, if she were to really try; not at the moment, of course. "
This is an example of minor godmoding(I actually posted this as part of an rp, yes). This much is allowed, because the other person can easily reply, "Mistpaw had jumped off as soon as she felt herself falling," or something like that. Normally, this is rather necessary in fighting scenes--however, we DO have our limits.
2) You may play only one important character. Put it in your tryout if you want your character to be leader/deputy/medicine cat(apprentice). I will look a bit closer at your activeness and maybe literacy, and if there's a leader you're going to be under ask them if they mind.
3) Do not kill any character unless you have the permission of the person who plays it, and give them a chance to retaliate/defend themselves.
4) Max ten characters, but for every character over five you must have one you're willing to kill off on a whim, and if you have more than five it's reccomended if not required that you kill off one of the 'extras'.
5) You must have at least one character entirely your own, in addition to whatever characters you create for plots or take over if someone doesn't want to play it anymore.
6) To join, post your charrie in the Character Tryout section.
7) Leaders get a LOT of power, because I'm not on as much as I'd like to be and can't keep the forum up to date. Abuse of that power results in immediately losing your position.
8) You should try to keep your character in one place at a time; however, this isn't required, and I actually reccomend you don't keep your character in one place while a Gathering is going on.
-ahem- Since she asked me to put this up, the name beginning 'Aero' and 'Paradise' I got from piglet024 on Neopets. Yup.
