A Miserable World

A ginger tabby gave a yawn as her copper optics flicked open, exhaustion still lingering through out them, even after her nap. She sighed, and stretched her stiff legs, claws biting into the soft grass. "Wolfpaw," she called in her meliodic voice, optics shifting through the old shack in search of her apprentice.

"Wolfpaw," Shatteredstar called again, her meow gentle and loving, although nevertheless firm. "It's time to train. We haven't been out much lately," she called, sighing and resisting the urge to grab food from the pile. IT was small enough, even with the Clan half-starving themselves.

WolfPaw smiled and bounded over to her leader,"Yes1 I would love to train!"

Shatteredstar nodded warily, in a crouch as she leapt onto a stair railing, lightly leaping onto the next, one after another down to the bottom floor. "We'll give ourselves a little tour of this twoleg place, as it won't do to have the clan lost here, especially when it's our new home," she explained to her eager apprentice.

Snowfur opened one eye and then another. Her green orbs went back and forth. She then closed both of them and got to her feet. She opened her eyes to watch as Wolfpaw and Shatteredstar padded off. She stretched her legs and sat down to groom her fur. She glanced around everyonce in awhile to make sure no one was around and then would continue. No matter what she did, her fur always had this brownish fur, due to all the dirt and stuff around. She gave up on making her fur clean and began to wonder what she could do sonce she didn't have an apprentice. "Oh well," she sighed and lay back down on the ground.

"Snowfur," Shatterstar greeted her deputy, tail motioning for the she-cat to come over. "Would you like to go on a patrol with me? Wolfpaw and I were about to check our borders, and find a new training spot," the leader suggested, balancing on the skinny railing as she focused on Snowfur, waiting for a response.

[Mudclaw]

Snowfur's ears pricked as she heard her name. "Of cource," she replied dipping her head to her leader, showing her gray spot. She quickly padded over to Shatteredstar and looked longingly at Wolfpaw. 'If only I could have an apprentice' she thought and then looked up at Shatteredstar, her eyes changed to happiness as she followed her leader. She felt like she was helping the clan, even if she wasn't she still felt good.

Shatterstar nodded with approval, and jumped down from the railing, signaling with her tail for Wolfpaw to follow. "We'll take the western route," she explained, taking a turning to begin the patrol, she at the head, and her deputy and apprentice following her as she began to tour the city, beginning to memorize the landparts, of what was to be, whether she liked it or not, her new home.

Snowfur followed close behind, jumping off the railing and glancing around this new home. It wasn't something she liked all that much but she convinced herself it was better than no home. She wasn't too formiliar with the routes and was glancing all around and exploring what she could. She didn't really know what was to come of this newplace but one thing was for sure it didn't smell all that great.
